New Indian companies: fresh MCA registrations as leads
ReadyBuyerFinder is free; you pay third-party costs at cost. Every new Indian company needs a bank, an accountant, payroll, software, an office and customers. If you sell to new businesses in India, a fresh registration with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) is an early buying moment. ReadyBuyerFinder reads the public MCA company master and turns new registrations into leads.
Where the data comes from
| Source | What we use |
|---|---|
| MCA company master data on data.gov.in | Published by the Government of India on the Open Government Data (OGD) Platform under the Government Open Data Licence - India. It includes the company name, CIN, registration date, state, principal business activity and paid-up capital. |
What counts
- An active company registered since the agent last checked (on the first run, within its look-back window).
- If the agent has keywords, only companies whose name or principal business activity contains one of them, for example "software" or "logistics".
- Agents whose regions exclude India skip this signal.
- The lead shows the company name, state, business activity, paid-up capital and CIN. The same key also lets ReadyBuyerFinder look up the CIN of Indian companies found by other signals.
Agent setting: Keywords narrow it by business activity.
How it is scored
- A fresh signal of this type adds 8 intent points by default (intent is capped at 40).
- Points halve every 14 days: about 4 points after 14 days.
- A second signal of the same type adds a quarter of its points.
- Intent is added to fit (industry, size, location, technology, keywords, persona). You can change every weight on your ICP.
The free data.gov.in key
data.gov.in gives API keys for free. Sign up on data.gov.in, copy the key from your account and save it under Settings in ReadyBuyerFinder. It is never metered or charged by ReadyBuyerFinder.
How fresh the data is
The signal is only as fresh as the dataset on data.gov.in, which is updated by the publisher on its own schedule. It is not a live feed of the MCA register.
What we don't use
- No scraping of the MCA portal: the data comes from the published dataset through the data.gov.in API.
- Director details are not fetched.
